Multi-HR Day for Talia as Mockingbirds Overpower Knights, 11-8
The Mississippi Mockingbirds and Kingston Township Knights lit up the scoreboard at Cloverdale Legion Park.

Martín Talia was instrumental in his team's 11-8 triumph over the Kingston Township Knights. The center fielder went 4 for 4 with 2 home runs, a triple, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 7 for the Mississippi Mockingbirds. Mississippi reliever William DeWitt picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Jin-oong Mae absorbed the loss. Folkert van Huizen recorded the save for Mississippi, his 23rd of the season.

Talia had a key at-bat for Mississippi early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and gave Mississippi an early 2-0 lead.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Talia told the Mississippi Herald.

Mississippi, at 45-30, occupies second place in the Third League.
