Divided Slip Past Brooklyn, 3-2
|
D.C. beat Brooklyn on the strength of starter Eric Colquhoun's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 3-2 win. The 5th-place Dodgers have lost 4 straight games.
D.C. used the bat of Mario Castillo to capture the win. The catcher jacked a solo home run in the top of the 16th inning to put the Divided ahead, 3-2. It was his lone hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"This is a resilient bunch," said D.C. manager Jonathan Gerth.
