Browns Need Extra Frames to Get Past Rocketeers
|
The Cleveland Browns wiggled past the Seattle Rocketeers, 7-6, at Boeing Dome. Cleveland second baseman Tom Camden earned player of the game honors. Cleveland reliever Nick Altrock picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Kenny Luker absorbed the loss. Cleveland, now 35-36, holds 6th place in the Third League.
The game was all tied up in the top of the tenth, until Camden delivered big-time for Cleveland, stroking a dramatic 2-run home run off Kenny Luker. The game-changing hit put the Browns on top, 7-5.
"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Camden.
