Thompkins Sensational for Dodgers
Brooklyn played host to Panama City at the friendly confines of Ebbetts Field.
The Brooklyn Dodgers picked up a win at Ebbetts Field, knocking off the Panama City Piranhas, 3-0. Starting pitcher Elroy Thompkins, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The 5th-place Dodgers have won 4 consecutive games.
The Piranhas had trouble solving Thompkins, who surrendered no earned runs on 1 hit over 7 innings.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Brooklyn manager Erock Genova. "It's usually not just one thing."
