The Vancouver Grey Wolves got a stellar effort from pitcher Gerardo Pagán, helping Vancouver score a 5-2 win over the visiting Boston Patriots. The winner was Sjaak Bonne in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Kelemeneke Balun took the loss. Vancouver is now 30-34, Boston 27-37.

Gerardo Ponce de Leon was the walk-off hero for Vancouver. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Grey Wolves second baseman hit a dramatic 3-run home run to send the teams home.

"This place was rocking at the end," Ponce de Leon said.
