Browns Pull Even With 4-1 Victory
|
Cleveland Browns starter Tim Walker was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Toledo Stingers, 4-1. The Browns move to 23-23 with the win, while the Stingers drop to 20-26.
Cleveland relied on the hitting of Carlos Martínez to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a solo home run in the top of the first inning to put the Browns on top, 1-0. For the game, Martínez had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
Walker told a Cleveland News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
