Otero Lays Hammer Down in 3-1 Win
|
Mississippi Mockingbirds starter Jorge Otero turned in an exceptional performance against the Cleveland Browns at Magnolia Park, resulting in a Mississippi win, 3-1. The first-place Mockingbirds have won 4 consecutive games.
Otero, the winner, is now 5-1 after putting the clamps on the Cleveland offense. In 8 innings of work, he gave up no earned runs on 4 hits, while collecting 10 Ks.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Otero.
