Plymouth pitcher Ricardo Fraga did his part in helping his team beat the Vermont Lake Monsters, 5-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Plymouth is now 54-29, 3 games up in the Silver AAA.

Jeff Lawson made an early impact for Plymouth when he stroked his 68th hit of the season. The 2-run single, which came with two out in the bottom of the first, put the Rocks on top, 3-0.

In postgame comments to the Plymouth Times, Fraga said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
