McAlear 'Lights Out' in Syracuse Win
|
The Syracuse Starks picked up a win at Stark Stadium, knocking off the Sunset District Fog, 6-0. Starting pitcher Dave McAlear was an essential part of his team's success. Austin Bizzle was credited with the save for Syracuse, his 1st of the season. The 7th-place Starks have won 9 in a row.
McAlear, now 7-5, scattered 2 hits over 6 innings for the Starks.
"I wouldn't want to be playing us right now," said Syracuse manager Kenny Billings.
