Hotspur Reserves Get Road Win, 6-3
|
Psychos Ballpark was the site for USSL Triple A action featuring the Florida Men and Phoenix Hotspur Reserves.
Phoenix Hotspur Reserves starter Dermot Eridge was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Florida Men, 6-3. Eridge, now 4-1, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 4, walking 1, and allowing 3 earned runs. Coy Mitoglou notched his 2nd save in 4 chances.
Nathan Pruitt had a key at-bat with two out in the top of the first for Phoenix. With the bases loaded and the Hotspur Reserves leading 1-0, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"We'll savor this win," Pruitt told the Phoenix Today, "then get ready for the next game."
The win puts the Hotspur Reserves at 30-45, while the Men drop to 29-46.
