Multi-HR Game for Cornelis in 4-2 Win
A 3-RBI performance from right fielder Harry Cornelis, who is tied for 2nd in the SAAA in bases on balls with 59, led the Plymouth Rocks to a 4-2 win over the Alloway Halberds. Víctor Deleón earned the win to go to 5-6. He allowed 2 earned runs on 9 hits, with no walks and 2 strikeouts. Marcel Bloemheuvel earned the save, his 6th.

Cornelis came through with some timely hitting for Plymouth. With the score 1-0 in the bottom of the third and one down, Cornelis hit a 2-0 cutter for a 2-run home run. His 12th home run of the season made it 3-0, Plymouth.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Cornelis said after the game.

Plymouth goes to 48-25. The win puts them 2½ games up in their division.
