Drummers Rally For Late Win Over Lake Monsters
The Tortolita Drummers downed the Vermont Lake Monsters, 6-5, at Drummers Ballpark. The Drummers were led by Jin-yong Myung, who captured player of the game honors. He belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Tortolita reliever Gojong Joseon got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Kee Bao was tagged with the loss. Tortolita, now 33-21, holds third place in the Silver AAA.

Armando Chamú was the walk-off hero for Tortolita. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Drummers catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
