Hotspur Reserves Raise Rally Flag, Beat Hialeah, 8-7
The Phoenix Hotspur Reserves electrified the home crowd at Thunderbirds Stadium with a walk-off win.

Hialeah got a terrific game from left fielder Kevin Baxter. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Phoenix, 8-7. Baxter was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Today's win puts Phoenix at 22-31, while Hialeah falls to 23-30.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Phoenix trailing 7-6, Nathan Pruitt hit a fastball from Stan Lowe to right for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Hotspur Reserves had a walk-off win.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Terry Stokes.
