Starks Fall Short, 2-1, at Hialeah

Hialeah played host to Syracuse at the friendly confines of Dodos Ballpark.
Hialeah rode a fine outing from starter Dave Stephenson to victory over the Syracuse Starks at Dodos Ballpark. The final score was 2-1. Hialeah is now 22-28, Syracuse 19-31.
Had Richard Sonntag not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Sonntag hit a 2-run double. That made the score 2-0, in favor of the Dodos.
"I really like what we did out there today," Sonntag said after the game.
