Lake Monsters Come Back Late to Top Hotspur Reserves
|
Vermont pinch hitter Hsi-men King had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves, 5-3. With the victory, the Lake Monsters record now stands at 27-20.
King had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-2 circle change from Neal Burns, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Lake Monsters a 5-3 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for King.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said King.
