Flamingos Continue Skid Thanks to Jost, Voodoo
The New Orleans Voodoo stopped the Las Vegas Flamingos, 9-2, at The Voodoo Lounge. The Voodoo got a big game from Richard Jost, who was 4-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Sy-ing Tah was the winning pitcher. Over 7 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 4 hits, with 1 walk and 4 strikeouts. The Voodoo, now 6-0, have stormed out of the gates.

Danny Trautmann made an early impact for New Orleans when he stroked his 2nd double of the season. The 2-run double, which came with two out in the bottom of the second, put the Voodoo on top, 4-0.

"We'll keep our chins up and get ready for the next game," said losing manager JJ Hoban.
