Tortolita shortstop Fernando Rincón was a significant contributor in his team's 4-3 triumph over the Sunset District Fog. He went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for Tortolita. The winner was Jerry Magee in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Yajirobei Matsumoto took the loss. At 19-13, the Drummers find themselves in 5th place in the Silver AAA.

Had Rincón not come through in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, Rincón hit a 2-run home run. The Drummers never looked back after taking the 4-3 lead.

"We'll try to build on that win," Rincón told the Tortolita Gazette.
