Loss Extends Brinkley Losing Streak

Scranton Supernovas starter Gonzalo Hernández was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Brinkley Belugas, 7-3. The save was credited to Magnus Belli, his 18th. Brinkley has now lost 6 straight.
Scranton used the timely hitting of John Willoughby to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the first inning to put the Supernovas on top, 3-0. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Hernández.
