Plymouth Rocks starter Alberto Álvarez was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Syracuse Starks, 4-2. Plymouth reliever Luke Warm picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Raúl Flores was saddled with the loss. Kong Li earned the save for Plymouth, his 1st.
Plymouth used the timely hitting of Tillmam Cru to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Rocks ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was an important one.
Álvarez called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
Plymouth goes to 7-0 with the win.
