Supernovas Get One-Run Win at Calgary
|
The Calgary Lynx got a superb performance from pitcher Maik van Osch, but the Scranton Supernovas still won the game, 3-2. van Osch was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 6 innings allowing 1 run. The 4th-place Lynx have lost 4 straight games.
One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the sixth inning. Facing Calgary hurler Maik van Osch, José Rodríguez, who is tied for 6th in the PAAA in bases on balls with 46, drew a walk. The Supernovas went on to win.
"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Scranton manager Andha Gangulee.
