Kangas Sensational for Nobles
|
The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes and Bakersfield Nobles were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd at Crane Field.
Bakersfield starter Raimo Kangas pitched effectively against the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes at Crane Field. The right-hander led his team to a 4-0 win. Mark Robinson earned the save, his 5th, for the Nobles.
The Golden Cranes had trouble solving Kangas, who surrendered no earned runs on 1 hit over 6 innings.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Kangas. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
Bakersfield improves to 50-25 with the win. They lead their division by 7˝ games.
