Men Whiffs 15, Sacramento Tops Jersey City
|
Led by an outstanding performance from starter Joy-shan Men, the Sacramento Redlegs topped the Jersey City Tritons today by a score of 5-1 at Sacramento Sanitation Station. The 27-year-old Men brought his top game to the mound, striking out 15 batters while allowing 4 hits and giving up 1 walk.
"He made a lot of good pitches out there," Tritons manager John McGrath said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes."
