The Calgary Lynx and Brinkley Belugas brought some excitement to Lynx Stadium.

Brinkley second baseman John Clark was instrumental in his team's 9-1 win over the Calgary Lynx. Clark, who is tied for 6th in the PAAA in triples with 4, went 3-5 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Belugas. David Silva picked up the win with 7.2 innings of work. He allowed 1 earned run on 8 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 2. On the season, he is now 5-5.

In the top of the second, Ramón Garmendia hit a 2-run home run for Brinkley. The 3rd home run of the season for the Brinkley shortstop put the Belugas on top, 2-0.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Garmendia told the Brinkley Citizen. "It's as simple as that."

With the win over Calgary, the Belugas improved to 41-32.
