Belugas Rally For Late Win Over Longnecks
|
Brinkley Belugas starter Jordan Guérin turned in an exceptional performance against the Bloomington Longnecks at Belugas Ballpark, resulting in a Brinkley win, 1-0. Brinkley has now won 3 in a row.
Dean Shamakani was the walk-off hero for Brinkley. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Belugas center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Bloomington manager Coy Knight. "The effort was great."
