The Sacramento Redlegs got a sterling performance from pitcher Lloyd Natoff, but the Longnecks still prevailed, 5-4. Natoff was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 6 innings allowing 1 run. At 29-28, Bloomington is in 6th place in the Premier AAA.
The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Bloomington trailing 4-2, Colin Bottone hit a fastball from Binjimen Victor for a 3-run home run, giving the Longnecks the walk-off win.
"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Bottone said in his postgame press conference.
