Muńóz Lays Hammer Down in 4-3 Win
|
Texas pitcher Roberto Muńóz did his part in helping his team beat the Scranton Supernovas, 4-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Texas is now 15-35, while Scranton is 21-29.
Muńóz's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 10 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 3 hits. Muńóz, who is tied for 10th in the PAAA with a 6.8 K/9 rate, goes to 4-5 on the year with 39 strikeouts.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Muńóz told a Texas News reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
