A 4-RBI performance from designated hitter Temaki Yuka led the Bakersfield Nobles to a 14-6 win over the Bloomington Longnecks. Ingo Abresch, the winner, improved to 5-2. He held the Longnecks to 3 earned runs on 6 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 2 and walking 2. Carlos Cardoso earned the save for Bakersfield, his 1st of the year.

With Bakersfield leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Yuka hit a fastball from Govaart van Ankeren for a 2-run single. It was his 9th hit of the season and put the Nobles ahead, 3-0.

"I love to hit," said Yuka. "As long as I keep loving it, the game's going to love me back."

Bakersfield is in first place in the Premier AAA with a record of 31-18.
