The Sacramento Redlegs topped the Calgary Lynx, 6-3, in USPL Triple A action at Lynx Stadium. The player of the game was Sacramento pitcher Tim Owens. Getting the save was Binjimen Victor, his 1st. Sacramento now sits in 6th place in the Premier AAA at 25-22.

Roger Caffyn's at-bat in the top of the third inning was a big one for Sacramento. Coming to bat with two out, the bases loaded and Sacramento trailing 1-0, the first baseman drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more,'" Caffyn told the Sacramento Today. "You win just by scoring more runs."
