Ramírez Goes Wild, But Redlegs Win
Sacramento Sanitation Station was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Sacramento Redlegs and the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes.

Santa Barbara right fielder Juan Ramírez was sensational. He was 3-5 with 2 home runs and a double. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Sacramento beat the Golden Cranes, 9-8. Ramírez was named the player of the game despite the loss. The Redlegs now own a record of 21-21.

Had Brandon Graybill not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Graybill hit a 2-run triple. That made the score 9-8, in favor of the Redlegs.

"This game had a little bit of everything," said Graybill.
