Longnecks CF Cheng Gets the Cycle
Xu Cheng gave all he had to help the Bloomington Longnecks today, but it wasn't enough.

Cheng hit for a rare cycle against the Scranton Supernovas, who still managed to trump Bloomington, 12-5. He ended up going 4-for-5 with 1 RBI and 2 runs scored in the contest.

"Disappointing," Cheng said later when asked to describe the experience. "I felt like we had an opportunity, but we couldn't string it all together today."

Xu Cheng flied out in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Félix Aluonado in the 6th, tripled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

In 24 games this season Cheng has compiled a .384 batting average with 28 hits and 3 home runs. He has also scored 12 times and knocked in 15 runs.
