The Alaskan Humpbacks topped the Sacramento Redlegs, 8-1, with shortstop Roberts Hamhock playing a big role. Hamhock went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for the Humpbacks in the win. The 7th-place Redlegs have dropped 4 straight games.
The outcome might have been different for Alaskan, had it not been for António Macías, the 20-year old third baseman . Macías stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put Alaskan up, 3-1. For the game, he was 4 for 5, including 2 doubles and 2 singles.
