Scranton catcher Luke Kreijling played a vital role in his team's 6-4 triumph over Brinkley. He went 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for Scranton. Had Bill Stanton not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Stanton hit a 2-run single. That made the score 6-4, in favor of the Supernovas.
