The Texas Bronze Sox got a strong performance from pitcher Shiki Yamamoto, who stymied the Alaskan offense en route to a 7-1 win at Sea World. Texas is now 9-27, Alaskan 18-18.

Texas left fielder Víctor Cuevas staked his team to an early lead in the top of the second inning, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run with the bases loaded.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Yamamoto told the Texas News.
