Loss to Humpbacks Extends Texas Losing Streak
Alaskan first baseman Carlos Castro was instrumental in his team's 7-2 win over the Texas Bronze Sox. Castro, who is tied for 6th in the PAAA in doubles with 9, went 2-4 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Humpbacks. Alaskan starter Jason Lissenberg was credited with the win after throwing 97 pitches over 7.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. Texas is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 8 in a row.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd and two out in the bottom of the third inning. That's when second baseman Erik Sterk, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2028 draft, got hit by a pitch. The Humpbacks went on to win.
