Golden Cranes Squelch Bronze Sox Offense in Shutout Win
Santa Barbara got a strong outing from Toddster Gordo as the Golden Cranes defeated the Texas Bronze Sox, 3-0, at Bronze Sox Park. The save was credited to Roger Taylor, his 4th. The 9th-place Golden Cranes are now 11-15, the Bronze Sox 7-19.

Santa Barbara used the bat of António Amaya to get the win. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Golden Cranes ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Amaya.
