Getting a good performance from left fielder Tumas Wenzu, the Alaskan Humpbacks defeated the Calgary Lynx, 6-1. Wenzu went 3-4 with 3 singles. He scored 2 times for the Humpbacks. The winner was Kingston Liniak in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Ricardo Covarrubias took the loss. The Humpbacks raised their record to 12-10.
Alaskan relied on the hitting of Bobby McFillin to pick up the win. The catcher ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the fourth inning to put the Humpbacks on top, 5-1. For the game, McFillin had 1 triple and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
