Longnecks Jolt Lynx with Late Rally
The Longnecks had to overcome a good performance from Calgary pitcher José Guillén to claim a 5-2 win at Lookouts Ballpark. Guillén went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Bloomington reliever Andy Tidwell picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Ángel Romero took the loss. The Lynx fall to 8-12 and continue their uneasy start to the 2039 season.

Had Henk van Aardschot not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, van Aardschot hit a run-scoring double. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Longnecks.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Bloomington skipper Coy Knight.
