Golden Cranes Fall Short, 2-1, at Brinkley
Santa Barbara wasted a solid 7-inning effort from starting pitcher Toddster Gordo, losing to Brinkley, 2-1, at Belugas Ballpark. Brinkley reliever Desiderio Toccafundo picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Toddster Gordo took the loss. The Golden Cranes fall to 6-7 and continue their uneasy start to the 2039 season.

Brinkley took a 2-1 lead on Naganori Takahashi's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Santa Barbara pitcher Toddster Gordo in the bottom of the seventh.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Takahashi said.
