The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes scored a 5-4 win versus the Bloomington Longnecks at Crane Field. Santa Barbara pitcher Jimmy O'Flahavan nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. The win was Roger Taylor's in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Francisco García took the loss for Bloomington. With the win, Santa Barbara is 5-6.

Santa Barbara won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With one out and Francisco García on the mound for Bloomington, pinch hitter Juan Ramírez hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Golden Cranes fans to their feet.
