Bloomington Longnecks starter Leon Alfons was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Sacramento Redlegs, 5-2. The Longnecks raised their record to 5-3.

Bloomington used the timely hitting of Noah Bushby to capture the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Longnecks on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but he made it count.

"Feels good to get the job done," Bushby said after the game.
