Ramírez Slugs Golden Cranes to 5-3 Win
The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes defeated the Calgary Lynx, 5-3. Earning player of the game honors was right fielder Juan Ramírez, who slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Santa Barbara reliever Rust Cohle was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Aubrey McCrimmon took the loss. Roger Taylor recorded his 2nd save for Santa Barbara.

Ramírez had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-2 cutter from Aubrey McCrimmon, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Golden Cranes a 5-2 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Ramírez.

"We did enough to win," said Ramírez.

The win leaves Santa Barbara with a record of 3-1.
