The Salt Lake City Buzz dealt the Houston BC a 6-4 loss at Houston Park. Alexis Hines was the star on offense. He was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Maverick Handley earned the win for Salt Lake City. He lasted 6.2 innings, allowing 4 earned runs on 5 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 3-4. The Buzz, at 56-44, sit in third place in the Menard's AAA.
Hines had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-2 fastball from Joel Walden, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Buzz a 5-4 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Hines.
"It feels good to get this one," Hines told the Salt Lake City Observer.
