Victory Over Buzz Takes Indianapolis to 61-38
|
Indianapolis first baseman Mathew Mayo had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Salt Lake City Buzz, 9-7. The Racers have an impressive 61-38 record.
The Racers grabbed the lead in the bottom of the fifth. With one out, Axel Ruschmeyer hit a 3-run home run off Emerson Horton, putting Indianapolis in front, 8-7. For Ruschmeyer, it was his 13th home run of the season.
"We'll take this win and move on," said Mayo.
