Racers Clip Dogfish Head in Tight Contest
Milton center fielder William Penn had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Penn was 3-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4, even as Indianapolis beat the Dogfish Head, 8-6. Penn was named the player of the game despite the loss. The winner was Dave Berry in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Gunner Cross took the loss. Indianapolis is now 52-34, 3 games up in the Menard's AAA.

Indianapolis took a 8-6 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. With one out, left fielder Gong Mao hit a grand slam home run that set the crowd abuzz.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Mao told the Indianapolis Bulletin.
