Both teams had their chances, but the Milton Dogfish Head eventually prevailed at Spirits Stadium.
The Milton Dogfish Head scored a 7-6 win versus the Salt Lake City Buzz at Spirits Stadium. Milton second baseman David Austin nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. The Dogfish Head now have a mark of 34-48.
A critical at-bat came in the top of the seventh inning when the Dogfish Head sent 21-year-old left fielder Oasiz Wiesblatt to the plate with the bases loaded. The youngster shook off the pressure and drew a walk, driving in 1 run, to put Milton on top, 7-5.
"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," Austin told the Milton Herald.
