BC Bridle Red Pandas, 4-2
|
Houston right-hander Patrick Ibáñez made an effective start against the Sioux Falls Red Pandas at Houston Park, leading his team to a 4-2 win. The BC saw their win-loss record go to 41-38. At the same time, the Red Pandas fell to 42-37.
Bailey Gribbins had a big 2-run single for the BC in the bottom of the third inning. With Houston leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a curveball from Arturo Guerrero and stroked the single to center. It was his 60th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the BC ahead, 3-0.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Gribbins said after the game.
