Houston rode a good effort from starter Silverberry Mouhon to beat the Indianapolis Racers at Houston Park. The final score was 7-2. Mouhon, now 4-6, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing no earned runs. With the win, Houston goes to 31-29, while the Racers fall to 37-23.
Omer van de Linde hit a 2-run double off Jeff Merritt in the bottom of the second, which put the BC in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, van de Linde had 1 single, while going 2 for 3.
