Dogfish Head Win at Pennsauken, 9-6
|
The Milton Dogfish Head defeated the Pennsauken Flyers, 9-6, at Pennsauken Park. Milton center fielder Toby Sutton was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 4-5 with 4 singles and a walk. Albert Sierra picked up the win, improving his season record to 6-2. He struck out 5 in 5.1 innings. Pennsauken's current losing streak is now 4 games.
Milton used the clutch hitting of Lorenzo Rosas to capture the win. The third baseman drilled a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to give the Dogfish Head the lead, 3-0. For the game, Rosas had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Rosas.
