Salt Lake City third baseman Cooper Lowe had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds, 11-6. Liam Bane got the win, improving to 1-0. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 5 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 3. Ellenburg's current losing streak has reached 4 games.
With Salt Lake City leading 2-0 in the top of the second, Lowe hit a 2-run double off Ellenburg hurler Shihab bin Salim. It was the 5th double of the season for Lowe and put his team ahead, 4-0.
