It was a fun time at KC Reserve Stadium, where the Milton Dogfish Head and Athletic Club KC Reserves tangled.
The Athletic Club KC Reserves beat the Milton Dogfish Head, 5-3, at KC Reserve Stadium. Athletic Club KC center fielder Shou-xin Quian earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs. Armando Garay was called on to finish, recording his 5th save.
Athletic Club KC first baseman Héctor Galló contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball into center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 23rd hit of the season and put the Reserves ahead, 4-3.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Galló. "And not try to do too much."
Milton has now lost 5 consecutive games.
